The Brazilian Post Office Department announced today that it will issue a special postage stamp in honor of Israeli President Zalman Shazar when the Jewish chief of state pays his official, state visit here, from July 18 to July 25. The postage stamp, the announcement stated, will carry a portrait of Mr. Shazar.
At the same time, the Brazilian Congress, in Brasilia, announced it is naming a special commission, composed of members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, to greet President Shazar in the name of the two legislative houses. That commission was named, it was explained, because Congress will be in adjournment at the time Mr. Shazar comes to Brazil.
