Professor Fritz Feigl, noted Jewish chemist, was honored by the University of Brazil here at a ceremony at which he was awarded an honorary degree. The contributions of Prof. Feigl to the world of science and to Jewish communal life in Brazil was emphasized in a speech delivered at the ceremony by Professor Kalmon, rector of the University. Professor Feigl is president of the Confederation of Jewish Institutions in Brazil.
