Foreign Minister Horacio Lafer proposed today the development of an “international judicial formula” which would prevent concealment of war criminals. The Foreign Minister told a press conference here that the Adolf Eichmann case had pointed up the need for such a formula. He said war criminals were “truly a disgrace to the human race.”
A similar legal solution to the problem was called for in the Brazilian Parliament today by Deputy Sergio Magalhaes, who said that national sovereignty should not be used as a pretext to hide war criminals.
