The third anniversary of the establishment by the Nazis of the Jewish ghetto in Warsaw was marked tonight in England by a special broadcast over the official radio station directed to all foreign countries, including occupied Poland.
The broadcast, given in all languages, dramatized a number of scenes of Jewish life in the Warsaw ghetto, and described the tortures which Jews in Warsaw have undergone since the Nazi occupation of the city, The broadcast was also beamed to the United States.
It was stated in the broadcast that Jewish families in Poland are now being separated as a result of large scale deportations of men from the ghettos to one destination, and women with children to other places. No correspondence is permitted between the deportees and friends who are still in the ghetto, thus husbands have no way of tracing their wives and children.
