Lord Nuffield, commonly known as the “Henry Ford of Great Britain” because of his position with the Morris-Cowley Motor Car enterprise, will publish in the Jewish Chronicle a strong denial of his reported affiliations with Fascism and anti-Semitism here.
Lord Nuffield has drafted a letter to that paper averring that he has never subscribed to Fascism.
“Neither have I the least antipathy toward the Jewish race,” he writes. “As the best evidence of this assertion I enclose a check for two hundred and fifty pounds to be used by the Central British Fund for German Jewish relief.”
