Brith Abraham, one of the oldest national Jewish fraternal orders in the USA with a membership of 20,000 families, today endorsed the Zionist Organization of America in a resolution adopted at its 69th annual convention held at the Concord Hotel here.
The resolution resolved upon cooperation as a national body with the Zionist Organization of America and called upon its branches and members to support the ZOA Irving Katcher, reelected Grand Master of Brith Abraham, commenting on the resolution, stated that it “opens the way to a new era of closest relationship between the ZOA and Brith Abraham for the cause of Israel.” Mortimer May, president of the Zionist Organization of America, expressed his deep gratification at the convention decision.
