The British Government has taken steps to furnish assistance to the Jewish doctor in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem who is experimenting with a new type of tissue therapy in the treatment of war wounds, it was stated today in the House of Commons by Duncan Sandys, financial secretary of the War Office.
Mr. Sandys announced that since the work was still in an experimental stage, there was no question of it being generally adopted as yet. The British authorities, however, are very much interested in the experiments, he stated, and are watching them closely.
