Sir Oswald Mosley’s fascist British Union is exploiting the recent reduction in Britain’s meat rations for anti-Jewish propaganda, according to a report submitted today to the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

The Mosleyite argument, which, according to the report, is making a deep impression, is that Britain is short of foreign exchange with which to purchase additional meat supplies because under the Anglo-Israel financial agreement recently concluded here, it has to “give” Israel 7,000,000 pounds. The Anglo-Israel agreement provided for the release to Israel over a two-year period, of blocked sterling held here in Israeli accounts.

An uproar last night followed a reference by Sir Oswald Mosley to the state of Israel at a rally of Mosley’s British Union at Kensington Town Hall. Sixteen soldiers from a paratroop regiment, headed by a sergeant, took part in the anti-Jewish demonstration which followed the reading by Mosley of a question, “what happens to the Jews when the Union attains power?”

Mosley replied: “The answer is that they will have a beautiful land of their own in Abyssinia, Palestine and all those countries at the end of the eastern Mediterranean. As their leaders for the last 2,000 years have said that the Jews want to become a nation, they cannot complain when we assist them to become a nation.”
