Anti-Jewish cruelties of the Nazis were denounced today by the Bishop of Winchester, Dr. Cyril F. Garbett, speaking at the annual assembly of the National free church Council at Bournemouth. He said:
“I do not think Germany has any idea of the disgust and Loathing with which the great mass of decent people throughout the Anglo-Saxon world read of these insults, outrages and cruelties committed upon men, women and children of the Jewish race in Vienna and elsewhere.”
