The British Government fully endorses the hope expressed by the American chairman of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission that despite Israel’s withdrawal from the commission “both countries will continue their investigation” into the Negev bus massacre of last week, the Foreign Office said in a statement issued here today.

The statement also declared that the government “fully sympathize with Israel’s concern at the Beersheba bus outrage and the Minister of State expressed to the Israeli Minister on March 19″ the British Government’s” regret and outrage” as well as its sympathy.
