British Jews are not being evacuated from Palestine, Viscount Hall, First Lord of the Admiralty, announced in the House of Lords today. Foreign nationals will also not be affected by the evacuation order, he added.

Referring to British businessmen in the country, he declared that the activities of those who remain will be hampered as little as possible. He announced that all applications for entrance to Palestine by businessmen are being referred to the Palestine Government for final approval, but that only applications from those with urgent business were at present being referred to the Palestine authorities.
