The Central British Fund and the British CSE today announced a project to improve the nutrition of Jewish babies in Morocco. The project, which has been accepted as part of the Freedom from Hunger campaign of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, will cost an estimated 13,000 pounds sterling ($36,400) and will be financed by the two British groups through appeals conducted among British Jews.

The project, which is aimed at bringing the nutritional standards for Moroccan Jewish infants up to par with European children, includes the training of special personnel and the setting up of infant feeding demonstration centers.
