Home Secretary R. A. Butler told Commons today that the British police were keeping an eye on the activities of the newly-organized Ku Klux Klan in Britain. He promised that if the Klan committed any breach of the peace, the police would act.

Fenner Brockway, Labor M. P., who raised the question, told the House that the KKK had agents operating in seven British towns and had already attracted a membership of several hundred persons. He said the KKK was planning “guerrilla action” against Negroes, Jews and Christians.
