A total of L183,000 has been raised to date by the Central Council for Jewish Refugees in its current campaign, it was announced today. Contributions include L25,000 each by the Rothschild, Bearsted and Marks families and L10,000 by Lieut.-Col. Charles Waley Cohen. An anonymous gift of L5,000 is also listed.
