British Royal Family Greets Balfour

The entire British Royal family, including the King and Queen, sent a congratulatory message to Lord Balfour on the occasion of his eightieth birthday.

At the Cabinet meeting today Lord Balfour received an enthusiastic ovation. Replying to greetings from the Keren Kayemeth, the author of the Balfour Declaration expressed his gratification at the fact that the afforestation in Palestine bearing his name is successful.

The Bulletin, in my opinion, has been genuinely helpful to American Zionism in it present muddle by giving the reaction of the Jewish press.

The Bulletin as a valuable barometer has tested the temper of the masses and shown their instincts to be level.

Rabbi Edward L. Israel of the Har Sinal Temple. Baltimore, Md. has been ### by Mayor William F. Broening on a committee to study the unemployment situation in Baltimore and to take steps for its relief.

The committee compsed of nine prominent persons in the city, will make a thorough study of the unemployment situation in Baltimore, and will work out a general plan for relief.
