Appreciation of the research work now being carried on in the Hebrew University on Mount Scopes was expressed by Sir. Edward Demission Ross, director of the School of Oriental Studies in London and professor of Persiam at the University of London, who is now visiting Jerusalem.

He inspected the University and the Library, declaring that he is confident Jerusalem will become the most important scientific center in the Near East through the work carried on at the Hebrew University.
