The “Gazeta Warszawska,” organ of the anti-Semitic national Democratic Party, and the “Slowo Pomorskie,” broadcast an alarm today against what they call the threatened invasion of German Jewish intruders.
The papers point “to the danger to Poland of an invasion of German Jews, who frightened by Hitler, may seek refuge in Poland,” and demand that the government take steps to protect Polish interests from “the prospective intruders.”
The papers complain against “the fatal error” on the part of the government in naturalizing six hundred thousand Jews of the Russian provinces.
They warn against a similar government mistake should German Jews decide to settle in Polish provinces.
