Magistrate Louis B. Brodsky today paroled Raymond J. Healy, self-styled “American Hitler,” in custody of his attorney for a hearing Nov. 7 before a different magistrate on charges of assaulting Ephraim Weiswasser, a Jewish newsstand dealer in Yorkville.
In paroling the young anti-Semite, Magistrate Brodsky exacted a promise that he would engage in no activities, such as fund collection, between now and the date of the hearing.
The magistrate said he was withdrawing from the case because appeal is pending on a previous 60-day sentence he meted out to Healy for anti-Semitic activities. Healey has already served the term in the workhouse.
