The “Bronx Jewish Herald” is the name of a new Jewish weekly which started publication last Friday. William Edlin, former editor of “The Day,” is the editor of the new weekly. Maurice Jacobs is general manager.
The paper, regular daily newspaper size, has ten pages in its first issue. In the editorial statement it is declared that the weekly will be “the organ of no section or party,” but will strive to serve the best interests of the Jewish community of the Bronx.
