A cross-section of the manifold activities of the Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Association of the Bronx will be presented to the public for one full week starting Saturday, April 21, and ending Sunday, April 29, at the first Bronx “Y” Open House Week in commemoration of the institution’s twenty-fifth anniversary.
Those who will attend during the various evenings as chairmen and guests of honor are Saul Raskin, Shulamith Wittenberg and Maxwell Heller, artists; Irving Jaffee, Olympic skating champion; Milton Sandler, world’s indoor record holder at 600 meters, and Gus Heymann and Harry Schneider, members of the 1932 United States Maccabi team that went to Palestine.
