Foremost artists’ representatives and heads of booking agencies have formed a committee to aid the “Night of Stars” production which will be presented at the Yankee Stadium September 20. This move was decided upon at a conference held yesterday at the office of Louis K. Sidney, chairman of the program committee of the project which will raise funds for the relief of German Jews under the auspices of the United Jewish Appeal.
Agents of outstanding opera, concert, radio, stage and movie stars have made plans to assure the personal appearance and participation of their clients at the presentation, which marks the contribution of the amusement field to the Appeal.
