The Brooklyn Lodge of the Order B’nai B’rith last night presented an award to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle as the metropolitan newspaper which did the most in 1936 to promote “interracial amity and comity as well as goodwill among the people of the United States.” Senator Robert F. Wagner, winner of the award to individuals, will receive a scroll later.
