Brooklyn Reform Groups Start Drive for Members

An intensive membership drive was inaugurated by eight Jewish reform congregations in Brooklyn at a meeting held in the Community House of Temple Beth Elohim, Eighth Avenue and Garfield Place, Thursday evening. The drive is being supported by the North East Religious Union, regional division of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, parent body of the Reform Congregations of the United States. Participating in the drive are Congregation Shaari Zedek, Temple Beth Emeth, the Community Reform Temple, Beth Sholom-Peoples’ Temple, Temple Beth Elohim, the Progressive Synagogue, Union Temple and Temple Ahavath Sholom.
