Two brothers—one in Atlanta, Ga., and the other in Bucharest, Rumania—have been brought together by the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) after not having seen or heard of each other for a score of years. The American brother is now taking steps to transport his distant kin to this country, the society reported yesterday.
Reversing the usual process, the American, Jacob Wolson of 116 Mitchell street, S. W., Atlanta, wrote to HIAS, asking that it help trace his brother, Bercu Wolson. As a rule, it is the relative remaining in Europe who applies to HIAS to locate kin in the United States.
