Harrison Brown, European representative of the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism, who has just returned to the United States, is scheduled to address the administrative body of the Committee Friday at the Covenant Club. Later he will give a series of addresses in Chicago and throughout Illinois.
“The Inside Story of Hitler’s Advent to Power” will be Brown’s topic when he speaks at a luncheon next Monday at the La Salle Hotel. Included among the sponsors are Dr. Horace J. Bridges, Dr. Albert Buckner Coe and Professor A. R. Hatton.
The Union of Jewish Organizations of Illinois will hear Brown June 14 at the La Salle Hotel.
A non-sectarian committee in Springfield, headed by Dr. H. T. Morrison, has arranged a meeting in the state capital at which Brown will address residents of southern Illinois.
The Youth Division of the Chicago Committee will hear him June 20 at Temple Judea. Other meetings will be held before the Foreign Relations Committee, the University of Chicago and Northwestern University.
