There is a deficit of five milliard Hungarian Kronen in the budget of the Budapest Jewish Reform (Neolog) Community, it was reported at the last meeting of the Budget Commission of the Community. A large number of officials of the community will be dismissed for economy reasons. The constitution and official recognition of the “status quo” Community is causing much anxiety in the Neolog Community. Many members who wished to avoid paying the community tax are joining the new community.
