For the first time on any ship, a Scroll Room is being provided for Jewish religious services on the Queen Mary, British rival to the Normandie, it was announced today.
Two kosher kitchens and a kosher pantry are being installed, and two Jewish cooks and a supervisor will be engaged to look after the Jewish menus. The Queen Mary will make its first sailing to New York in 1936.
