A decree permitting the transport of all Joint Distribution Committee relief shipments for Bulgarian Jews from the Bulgarian border to Sofia free of all taxes, customs, and freight charges was passed yesterday in the National Assembly. Previously all relief transports had been permitted to enter free of duty, but the J. D. C. had to pay half the total freight bill.
