Pointing out that the United Nations’ efforts to establish a just and new order throughout the world cannot be successful without a definite solution of the Jewish problem, the United Zionist Organization of Bulgaria closed its first post war conference have today with a call for United Nations’ support of Jewish efforts to establish a homeland in Palestine.
Other resolutions adopted at the closing session included the expression of thanks to the present Bulgarian government for the freedom it has granted to the Jewish minority, and the hope that the Bulgarian people their government will support Jewish national aims. The conference also sent greetings to the soldiers of the American, British, and Soviet armies and to members of the Jewish Brigade, and hailed the efforts of American Jews in their fight against the White Paper.
