The German fur traders union called upon all its members to patronize only the so called “Braune Messe” (brown fair) held during the Leipzig fair and composed exclusively of Aryan exhibitors, since the fur trade general fair is partly Jewish.
At the same time the municipal council of Munich decided not to admit Jewish merchants to the world famous Munich October festival and all other Munich fairs. Jews were also forbidden to enter the auction hall of the municipal pawn shop.
