C.i.o. Convention Calls for Legislation Outlawing Anti-semitism, Admitting Dp’s to U.S.

The eighth national convention of the C.I.O. today unanimously adopted a resolution calling for Federal legislation outlawing “anti-Semitism and other forms of anti-racial prejudice.” The delegates also demanded that the government “stop quibbling” and open the “doors to the thousands of homeless and desperate Jews in Europe.”
