The Cabinet will decide Sunday on the composition of the Israeli negotiating team for the talks with Egypt, due to begin in Washington Oct. 12. Foreign Minister Moshe Dayan is to head the team. He leaves for the U.S. later this week and will address the United Nations General Assembly Oct.9 and will proceed to Washington to be joined there by the other negotiators.
National Religious Party leader, Dr. Yosef Burg, and Deputy Premier and Democratic Movement leader Yigael Yadin have indicated that they want to be included in the team, and observers expect that they will. Another possible participant is Agriculture Minister Ariel Sharon. Meanwhile, a Defense Ministry team of officers and technicians is due to leave for Egypt tomorrow to set up direct communications between Cairo and Jerusalem.
