Cal Ripken auctioned one of his baseball jerseys to help victims of terrorism. The former Baltimore Orioles shortstop appeared Tuesday night at a sold-out charity dinner for the Koby Mandell Foundation, named for a 13-year-old boy murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank in 2001. Mandell, 13, when he died, grew up in Silver Spring, Md., and was a devoted fan of Ripken.
