Governor Rolph of California, Mayor Rossi of San Francisco and other notables will be invited to attend ceremonies marking the cornerstone laying of the new Jewish Community Center which will take place in five weeks. The site now is being excavated following ground breaking ceremonies and work on the foundation should start in a week.
It is planned to make an important ceremonial of the cornerstone laying with leading members of the state and community, Jews and non-Jews participating.
