Calling on the Moslems and Christians to prevent the land sacred to both from falling into the hands of the Jews the Arab paper “Al Hayat” declared, “Attention Arabs! Your case can be solved only in Palestine. Attention Moslems! The Holy Land is in danger. Attention Christians! Great Britain wishes to donate the Holy Land, where Christ was crucified, to the Jews. We Moslems have done all we can, now you Christians must join our efforts”. The paper concludes by saying “until now we fought only the Zionists. Now it is the time to consider Great Britain our enemy”.
