There is many areas in this country where several million more people can be accommodated, J.G. Gardiner, Minister of agriculture, said today in an appeal for liberalization of Canada’s immigration policy.

Pointing out that 6,000,000 more people were needed to utilize the natural resources of Western Canada alone, Gardiner declared that there are millions of people of the world “we would be glad to have as neighbors.”
