Canada-Israel Development, Ltd., has declared an interim dividend of $20 per unit, it was announced here today by Samuel Bronfman, president of the corporation, who was re-elected for a second term by the firm’s general meeting.
During the last year, Mr. Bronfman reported, Canada-Israel shares issued and fully paid-up increased from $863, 500 to $1,499, 300. He reported that the company has diversified its portfolio and that “all the investments made had shown considerable growth, and could be realized as substantial capital gains.” The firm, he said, is now considering “a number of attractive proposals connected with the long-term development of the Israel economy.”
