Canada’s Supreme Court ordered a new trial for six members of a neo-Nazi and white supremacist group. The Canadian Jewish Congress said it was “very pleased” about developments in what has become known as the “Roma Case.” The accused held a demonstration outside a Toronto motel in 1997 to protest the presence a group of recently arrived Roma, or gypsy, refugees from the Czech Republic who were being housed by Canadian immigration authorities.
