An official 15-man Canadian economic mission left Ottawa last night for Israel. The mission, representing a wide gamut of Canadian industries and commerce, was accompanied by Canadian officials. It will undertake a two-week study of the Israeli economy.
At a farewell gathering at the Israeli Embassy, the Israel Ambassador, Yacov Herzog, expressed the hope that a new era of Canadian Israeli economic cooperation would develop.
