Prime Minister Mackenzie King of Canada today placed his government on record as supporting the joint declaration on Nazi atrocities against Jews, which was issued yesterday by eleven of the United Nations and the Fighting French.
Stressing that the “declaration will make clear to the Nazi leaders that the day of retribution is coming closer,” Prime Minister King stated: “The Canadian Government is glad to associate itself with the Allied declaration made in London, strongly condemning the Nazi policy of exterminating Jews in territories under German control.”
