The Canadian Jewish Congress has raised with the Department of National Defense at Ottawa anti-Semitic propaganda being used to discredit the Canadian Army recruiting campaign. The Congress drew attention of the authorities to a cartoon in “Vers Demain,” organ of the Union of Voters, a splinter group of the Social Credit Party. The cartoon described the recruiting drive as a campaign for Zionism. The Social Credit Party has repudiated the group and the paper.

The Jewish organization has also taken up with the authorities distribution here of anti-Semitic propaganda by a group calling itself the “Canadian Gentile Congress.”
