The Canadian Hadassah raised more than $1,032,000 in 1948 and now has a membership of 13,000 according to a report submitted by Mrs. Earry Singer, national president, to the thirteenth national convention here.
She pointed out that Canadian Hadassah has expanded all its undertakings in Israel. These included the Canadian Hadassah Agricultural School at Nahalal, which has become an agricultural experimental college, not only for young girls, but also for boys. Canadian Hadassah also continues to support the work of Youth Aliyah. The convention was addressed by Mrs. R. Ginsburg and Major Wellesley Aron, both of Israel.
