In response to an urgent appeal by Moshe Kol, world head of the Youth Aliyah movement, the Canadian Hadassah-WIZO sent today $50,000 to the child rescue movement in Israel, according to an announcement by Mrs. William Riven, president of Hadassah-WIZO. The funds will be used to care for children arriving in the new wave of immigration from Eastern Europe. The Hadassah-WIZO is the official representative agency of Youth Aliyahin Canada.
