An all-Canadian Jewish Conference for the purpose of establishing a permanent central Jewish body in Canada will open here tomorrow and continue through Sunday.
Representatives of the larger centers, as Winnipeg, representing all western provinces; Montreal representing the eastern provinces, and Toronto, representing the central provinces, will participate.
The Jewish situation in Germany has a prominent place on the agenda of the conference with questions of proclaiming a boycott on German-made goods in Canada, financial assistance, relief and establishing German Jews on land in Palestine. Reports will be heard from the various committees.
A proposal will be made to re-establish the Canadian Jewish Congress.
