The Canadian Jewish Congress took half-page advertisements in the Toronto newspapers yesterday to protest against the executions in Iraq and to call on Canadian public opinion to make its voice heard.
Under the heading, “Is Justice Dead?” the advertisement pointed out that “Iraq repeats its senseless barbarism. We protest in the most energetic and unequivocal terms against the rape of justice in Iraq.”
