Canadian Jewish Congress Seeks to Bring 1,000 Jewish Children from Europe to Canada

The Canadian Jewish Congress is seeking to implement the permission granted by the Canadian Government in 1942 to bring 1,000 Jewish children from Europe into the Dominion, it was announced here today by Saul Hayes, national executive director of the organization. The Congress succeeded recently in securing the admission of 67 Jews from Shanghai.
