A request that the Government grant the Jewish community of Canada a new concession for the admission of relatives of Canadian Jews was presented to Robert Forke, Minister of Immigration.

The request was submitted by a delegation headed by S. W. Jacobs, A. Heaps, Rabbi Isserman and Lyon Cohen.

A cordial hearing was granted the delegation, which pleaded for the granting of the concession on humanitarian grounds.

The Minister will receive the delegation again on Thursday, to discuss the details of the matter.

A meeting of the national executive of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada took place Sunday. Various proposals for the strengthening of the organization were discussed.

The outcome of the meeting was the establishment of peaceful relations between the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society and the Ica, which recently had a number of misunderstandings. A. H. Levine is president of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society.
