A resolution asking for government action to prevent the admission to Canada as immigrants of 20,000 members of the Ukrainian S.S. Halychyna division–which fought in the ranks of the German Army during World War II–was adopted here unanimously by the local Labor Council.

The National Council of the Native Sons of Canada has revoked the charter of its La Fontains chapter of Quebec Province because of the chapter’s “continued public expression of anti-Semitic views.”

In a letter announcing the organization’s decision, an official explained that the La Fontaine chapter’s actions were “contrary to the spirit of our constitution and the repeated protests of our national Council executives.”
