Resolutions calling on the Canadian Government to voice its opposition to internationalization of Jerusalem and scoring “assimilationist tendencies and the fear of dual loyalties” on the part of some sections of Canadian Jewry were adopted at the closing session of the Mizrachi jubilee convention here. Messages of greetings were received from Israel President Chaim Weizmann, Canadian Minister for External Affairs Lester Pearson and others.
