John Beattie, Canadian Nazi leader, and nine Jews who joined in an attack on him and a fellow-Nazi at a rally in Toronto last Sunday, were released today on bail after a hearing.
Eight of the Jews arrested were charged with assault and one with possessing and concealing a weapon. Beattie was charged with causing a disturbance. The Toronto City Council disclosed that the Nazi group had not been given a permit for the rally.
